Change Leadership (Style): Since Dr JP decided to step down the presidency at the end of his term in 2012; it is really interesting to see who will be the new leader who will drive the party into the next general elections. Are we going to see Dr JP’s clone who would be an expert in any topic, who can win any debate, or will we see a leader who will attract the mass and attack the biggest names in the state. I think LSP certainly needs a game changer. Status-quo will not get them anywhere. Once Dr JP steps down, he should leave Hyderabad, and tour the state relentlessly; may be take up a Ratha Yatra like several successful predecessors did.

Change in Attitude: The biggest challenge for LSP is to get out of the NGO mindset, and accept that they are a political party, and just that. Somehow saying that all other parties except LSP is corrupt; people vote for other parties because they are ignorant; media doesn’t cover LSP; one day LSP will come to power because Mamata Benerjee also took a long time…all these are BS words.  The rule of the world is survival of the fittest. Either rise above, or release your resources, they have their families waiting for them.

Change Solgans: LSP voter base seems to be the middle class and the students. Both of these sections are not known for turning out on the election day. To win most votes in any constituency, LSP should certainly penetrate into the poor voters. The poor voters will not care about the Lokayuktas and Decentralization of the power. So to win elections, LSP needs to pick different slogans. They need to pick slogan which will resonate with the bottom most of the food chain, not only because it will get the votes, but fighting for them and giving them a hope is the right thing to do.

Change Modes: LSP leaders also give a good boy impression. People don’t believe good boys will solve their problems. They want to see rough and tough guys. People don’t think preaching will work. They want to see some rasta rokos, darnas, nirahara deeksha’s etc. At the end of the day, you should be remembered as the guys who fought for the people honestly with all your guts, whether you are able to bring the result or not. People don’t care how many speeches you gave and how much lobbying you did to make things happen.

Fire up the Base: Currently several leaders and volunteers across the state seem to give up any remote hope of wining in elections (of course there are some exceptions like Babji, Babu, Sridhar, Vazeer among others). They hardly know what is going on in the party. They hardly hear from their high command (HC). HC seems be in a strange mind set that local leaders should be self motivated. Come on; give them something to fight for. HC doesn’t help their base by confusing them with neutral stand in the no-confidence motion, or unquestioned support to FDI etc. It’s good that they are doing training sessions, but the local guys want more motivation than training. They want to see Dr JP, and they want to talk to him on the phone. May be video conferencing is not a bad idea.

Local Level:

LSP has too many local “leaders” who have no political ambitions or no fight in them. They are content to be the flag barriers and wait for the next leader who will magically come and give them a victory in the elections. For most of them politics is not the primary concern. They either consider this as a part-time, or time-pass. You can’t win anything with this attitude let alone the elections with the biggest parties and most serious people in the contest. LSP needs at least 100 full time politicians, who will take the elections as do-or-die.

They need leaders who not only go head-to-head with the traditional politicians, but they need leaders whom the volunteers can trust to their safety. So called leaders who come to the party office everyday, drink some coffee, read newspaper and tells some good things; are good to look like alankaram to the office, but that’s all they are. For all such “leaders” – please get out of the way for next generation.

Other factors:

Unfortunately LSP fans on facebook (like me) will be not be a factor in the elections. Probably most influential factors will be out of LSP control, but to be able to gain advantage from them, LSP should ready be cleaning up their house first.

Election samikaranalu both locally and in the state-level will be the biggest factor. Of course no one will come to you, unless they think you are strong and can help them.

The decision to give TG or not should also have a big impact. Will the Jagan be in the jail or outside? Will there be a miracle and CBN, and all major congress leaders facing corruption charges end up in the jail? Will the Yuva Kiranalu fire back? Will the voters stop taking money and alcohol to vote, and reject the freebies? Will there be a revolution by the farmers, SCs/STs? Will the oceans water level rise really high from global warming? What else?

Do you know the first sound you recognized in your life? I do. It was the sound of my dad’s motorcycle coming home. I listened to it from when I was days old, everyday. I don’t know exactly how old I was when I had this never-spoken-before fantasy, but certainly younger than 6-7 years. Because I know I was in Guntur then, and we left that town after my 2^nd class.

I used to imagine my dad as a movie hero. Mainly because he was strong, yet calm and composed. He looked smart; always wore clean clothes, belt and leather shoes. He never scolded me nor beat me. He also had answers for everything. He was patient and answered my endless questions. Very rarely he used to say that he did not know the answer, but I did not believe him. He was probably protecting me by not telling the real answer.

But when my dad was driving his Yezdi with his grey helmet on, he was not any ordinary hero. I always wondered how that helmet was so hard outside and yet so soft inside. I did not see many driving Yezdi, and certainly did not see many wearing a helmet like that. With his bike, helmet and several other factors (like he had a heroine in my mom), he was not less than any James Bond. Yes, my dad took me to James Bond and Bruce Lee movies; My dad was not Bruce Lee because that was me. I could even beat my dad if I was really angry. I will leave that topic for a different day.

When I went out with my dad, I used to sit on the petrol tank of Yezdi so I could see everything (also because my mom and sister sat behind my dad). I liked the wind hitting my face. It made me feel that we were going faster. I always counted how many other bikes, scooters we passed. I used to get angry if a different bike passed us, then I used to push my dad to speed up. I am not sure if he listened to me, but more often than not, we managed to defeat the other guys (who were probably the bad guys).

Then I imagined that my dad had been chased by the police everyday on his way back from work. Of course my dad could never do something wrong, so the police must have been mistaken about my dad. Anyway, my dad was so fast that they never caught him. Sometime after he came home, I used to look down the street and see if police are still on their way. They never came, because my dad was that fast.

Then there was a dent in the helmet. I remember asking my dad how that dent happened. I don’t remember his answer, probably because I thought he was not telling the real reason. The real reason I believed was that police one day shot at him, and his helmet took the bullet. I told the same to my friends. They were wowed by that fact

Personal Take care of the health, surya namaskaram in the morning, stretching at work and walking during the lunch time. Get as fit as needed to run a marathon. The goal is to be fit for several years so I can play with my kids. I don’t want anymore back-pain or Achilles aches.

Family Quality time (మనసా వాఛా కర్మేణ) with the family by allocating specific time to the internet, phone calls and weekend events (“protests”). I don’t want to think about corruption in India while talking to my wife, or about some other problem while playing with my kid. I don’t want to keep forgetting to close the garage door .

Work No more social networking at work, may be ok at the lunch time. It is not fair to post anti-corruption related stuff on facebook by being unethical to the work place. I should focus the energy on making my team members lives happier (at work), and be more proactive to the client needs.

Social I was involved in too many things in 2011, not justifying most of them. I want to cut down several things so I am focused and do justice to at least one. My goal is to bring real change in at least one cause.

While the idea of providing food for the less fortunate is a good idea in itself, there are some serious problems with the Food Security Bill. Top of the list is, there is no provision in this bill to address the food problem in long term. Wise people said that, it is more helpful to teach hungry how to fish, than provide the fish. This bill doesn’t have such a provision, may be because the Congress party likes to have people dependent on the government for basic needs.

Second problem I see is the amount of corruption that is possible with this bill. There are many provisions that are hard to implement or monitor in the current state. For example, there is a program to counsel moms  on how to breast feed (“Support for practicing exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months through assistance at birth, skilled breastfeeding counseling, and related assistance consistent with the provisions of the Infant Milk Substitutes, Feeding Bottles and Infant Foods”). And there is a program to supply feeding bottles. Now we can imagine how many moms will take this counseling, and how many of these feeding bottles make their way into the black market.

Third concern I have is the financial burden. At the current estimate, the cost of this program is expected to be 6,00,000 crores in next 5 years. With the several comparisons we have seen with the 2 lakh crores loss from 2G scam, this program is thrice as big. Of course the food-for-poor is important, but let’s also understand that this is how much less money the government will have on the healthcare, education, and more importantly, drinking water and basic infra structure like toilet facilities in rural areas. A lot of the 6,00,000 crores will be in the discretion of the corrupt politicians. For example, the Anganwadis and the fair price shops will be given to the relatives of the ruling party politicians, and sold for corruption, just like they did it with the current public distribution system.

Fourth concern is that the government is ready to make the same mistakes without address the problems in the current mega programs. For example, based on the numerous complaints that nutritious food is not being provided in the afternoon meal program in the schools, we can only imagine how the “freshly” cooked meals is going to be at such a large scale in so many Anganwadis. Other example is 200 day work guarantee program under the Food Security bill. We have already seen a tremendous misuse of the work guarantee program in NERGA. The bill also does not talk about the theft that goes on in our current public distribution system, so how will it address in the new system, with lot of money at stake? This program also talks about the identify cards for the potential beneficiaries. We have seen how well the aadhar project was handled.

I always thought the government as the system that should provide a safe level-ground for people to create opportunities and make their living. Of course we should take care of the poor people not just to keep the harmony, but for the sake of the humanity. Some reports say that close to 80% of the subsidized food is stolen*, the food security program is nothing but a clay water pot full of holes.

Food Security – No, with recommendations: December 27th, 2011  Everyone should have access to clean water, nutritious food, healthcare, education and a house. In an ideal situation there are opportunities for people to make all these for their families. Since those conditions are not available for crores of Indians, laws like Food Security are important.

Unfortunately the government proposed gigantic bill has several areas that needs to be addressed. So, I am going to say No, with proposing that they address the below issues in the future version.

1. Have provisions to address the hunger problem in long term.
2. Address the current problems and misuse in Anganwadis, NERGA, food storage, public distribution system
3. Decrease the financial burden by various methods, for example by piloting the program targetting the effected people instead of a universal jumbo program.
4. Putting tougher measures to address the rampant corruption

It does not mean that the Food Security bill should stop until all the problems are addressed. They all should be tackled in parallel. For my complete analysis on Food Security Act, please visit the below link.

FDI – Yes, with regulation: December 06th, 2011 I think FDI in retail will bring competition and make the supply chain lot more streamlined, benefiting the final boss, the consumer. I don’t agree that only FDI entrance will kill the farmers and small retailers. If US-based Walmart can do that to US, then why can’tIndia based Reliance do the same to India? Left to the large corporations though, it will only benefit the top 0.001% of population due to the greed and power these large corporations have. They will paralyze communities and make them slaves in just few years.

Regulation:

1. We must stop the cheap products from countries like China and encourage entrepreneurship and small industries. Imports by FDI should be taxed, and that money should be used to promote small industries.
2. The final decision on whether a FDI should setup a shop in a community or not should be left to the City, Mandal etc.
3. Majority of the tax paid by the FDI should be invested back into the same community, not to the state or to the center.
4. I agree with the current regulation that FDIs should invest in the backend infrastructure.

FDI must be thoroughly discussed in the parliament and get approval from the houses. The merits and demerits must be communicated to the citizens.

Telangana – Yes, with conditions: December 06th, 2011 I think AP should be divided into two states (yes, change in my earlier position). The state is too populated, and hard to manage. Too many central and state level programs, but due to the size, the benefits don’t trickle down to the bottom. While the current problem are due to the build up of issues from several years because of politicians not working for people, unfortunately instead of inclusion and a win-win strategy, politicians made the moment focused on how Andhra robbed Telangana. I think, if divided, Seemandhra would have a benefit due to the new development (Capital city etc).

Conditions:

1. Based on the studies done so far, all three regions of AP should be communicated the reasons for separation, and their concerns like river water distribution must be addressed.
2. Rayalaseema people’s concerns must be addressed, and they should be not taken for granted.
3. Poorest and driest areas of all regions of AP should get development packages.
4. People who settled from Seemandhra in Telangana must be given job and personal security so they feel safe through the transition. Either the jobs must be kept, or the jobs must be transferred to Seemandhra. Option should be given to the individuals.
5. The jobs misallocated due to improper implementation of various G.O.s should be remedied to do justice to the Telangana people.
6. Water projects should be built in Telangana so its’ irrigation lands get water.
7. Seemandhra should have a package for developing the capital city. The capital city should be accessible to all regions, so Vizag is not the best option. A town should be chosen as the capital, instead of a big city.

If the state is not divided, above points 3, 5 and 6 must still be applied. The reasons for keeping the state together and the reasons Telangana people wanted to separate must be communicated. Telangana cultural should be duly recognized, including their festivals and freedom movements.

It’s not just about movies. We also master in imitating. We want to be like the West. We like Mc Donalds, iPhones,Toyota cars. Now we also want F1-racing. Whether it is a product or a service, anything we want, we try to imitate mainly from the West, and of course without giving any credit to where it belongs. One of my friends who worked in a pharma firm in India told me that they get the formula from a different country from backdoor. Then they make some changes and put their label on top of it. It is hard for my to believe it was an isolated incident.

What about the language? You go to any service center like a bank or a restaurant; you will be made felt embarrassed to speak your mother tongue, Telugu for instance. That is the case even if you can’t speak English, and even if the service provider can speak Telugu much better than English. Your broken English with a fake accent always gets more respect/service than your mother-tongue.

Going back to the school days, I noticed since my fifth grade, that most of the students, especially the ones who always got either 1^st or 2^nd in the class cheated in exams, then bargained with teachers for that extra half mark. Our favorite teachers were those who allowed us to cheat, and gave a mark or two which we didn’t deserve.

When I moved to US for my Masters, I realized the name our seniors established for Indian students. Professors thought that it was Indian students’ culture to copy. It hurt me real bad. Of course we had company from my Chinese brothers. They were as good (bad) as us with cheating in exams. Like in India, cheating continues for NRIs outside of the Universities with fake documents for H1, fake experience for job, fake pay-stubs for GC and fake referrals for apartments and so on.

While most of the responsibility is on individuals, it begins with the parents. As long as we have parents who only want to see the marks percentage in the exams, or how much more their son/daughter is making more than the next guy, we will have this dirty blood running through our body. While I am guilty of some of the above mentioned, it has been a constant struggle for me to become a better person, and be less fake. I am not saying this problem is only in India, because it is absolutely not. But I don’t care about others’ problems as much as I do of India’s.

India’s development in last couple of decades is mainly due to the exploitation; exploitation of natural resources by Indians and exploitation of “cheap” labor by the global companies. How long can we sustain this type of development with the limited natural resources and ever competing global market. Living expenses in India jumped up, while more nations are becoming foreign investment friendly. The only answer to this question is innovation. We can’t think of innovation as long as we keep trying to find shortcuts or be copycats.

తెలుగుదేశం – అవిశ్వాస తీర్మానం: మనం తప్పకుండా అవిశ్వాస తీర్మానం పెడదాం. దీని వల్ల మన పార్టీకి చాలా లాబాలు వున్నాయి. 1) జగన్ వెనుక నిజంగా ఎంత మంది వున్నారో జనానికి చూపించవచ్చు 2) వై‌ఎస్‌ఆర్‌సి, కాంగ్రెస్ రెండూ ఒకటే అని చూపించవచ్చు 3) సి‌బి‌ఐ దర్యాప్తుని అవిశ్వాసంకి ముడి పెట్టి బేరం పెట్టవచ్చు 4) రైతుల దగ్గర మార్కులు కొట్టవచ్చు.

వై‌ఎస్‌ఆర్‌సి – మనీ, మనీ, మోర్ మనీ: తెలుగుదేశంని విజయవంతంగా రెచ్చగొట్టం. ఇక వాళ్ళు అవిశ్వాస తీర్మానం తప్పకుండా పెడతారు. కాంగ్రెస్ వాళ్ళకి మెజారిటీ లేదు కాబట్టి మన దగ్గరకి రాకుండా వుండరు. మన అన్న మీద కేసులు పడినప్పటి నుంచి డబ్బులు బయటకి రావటం లేదు కాబట్టి, అవిశ్వాస తీర్మానంలో ప్రభుత్వాన్ని నిలపెట్టటానికి ఒక్కో వోటుకి ఒక 10 కోట్లు తీసుకోవచ్చు.

కాంగ్రెస్ – రూపాయి బియ్యం: అవిశ్వాసంలో మనం నెగ్గటం ఖాయం. జగన్ వెంటావెళ్లిన తముళ్ళు కూడా తిరిగి వస్తారు. అవిశ్వాసం పేరు చెప్పుకొని రూపాయి బియ్యం గురించీ, యువకిరణాల గురించీ ఇంకో నాలుగు సార్లు వూదరగొట్టచ్చు. ప్రజా సమస్యల గురించీ మాట్లాడే వాళ్ళు వుండరు కాబట్టి, ఫుల్ టైమ్ పాస్.

టి‌ఆర్‌ఎస్ – వెకేషన్: ప్రత్యేక రాష్ట్రం పేరుతో మనం అసెంబ్లికి డుమ్మా కొట్టొచు. ప్రజా సమస్యలతో మనకి పని లేదు. ఒక వేళ అసెంబ్లికి వెళ్ళితే, యెవడైనా రాష్ట్ర విభజన మీద యెంధుకు తీర్మానం పెట్టటం లేదు అంటే ఇరుకున పడతాం.

మిగతా పార్టీలు: ఒక అరగంటో పావుగంటో మైకు దొరుకుతుంది. మనం చెప్పే సోళ్ళు అసెంబ్లిలో యెవడూ పట్టించుకోకపోయినా, న్యూస్ పేపర్లో మెయిన్ ఎడిషన్లో 3rd -4th పేజ్ లో అయినా వస్తుంది.

మీడియా – మసాలా: మనం పార్టీ కానీ పార్టీ, అందరికన్నా పెద్ద పార్టీ. ఈ సమావేశాలతో మనకి పండగే పండగ. యెక్కడ లేని మసాలా దొరుకుతుంది. టి‌ఆర్‌పి రేటింగ్స్ అదుర్స్, సేల్స్ అదుర్స్. హైదరాబాద్లోలేని విలేకరులు అందరికీ సెలవు ఇచ్చేయవచ్చు.

బాబులూ మీ డ్రామాలు మాకు వద్దు. ఈ అసెంబ్లి సెషన్లో మా సమస్యలు యెవ్వడూ పట్టించుకోడు, మీ గేమ్లు మీరు ఆడుకోవటం తప్ప. కాలేజీలో మీము కొట్టుకోవాలంటే “బయటకి పద, చూసుకుందాం” అనుకునేవాళ్ళం. మీరు కూడా అలానే బయటే చూసుకోండి మీ బాలా బలాలు. ఇప్పటికీ మా డబ్బులు తిన్నది చాలు. అసెంబ్లి నడపటానికి మా టాక్స్ డబ్బులు కర్చు చేయనవసరం.

ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో ఏడాదిన్నరగా విచిత్ర పరిస్తితి నెలకొంది.ఒక ప్రాంతం లోని వారు తెలంగాణా కావాలన్తుంటే ,ఇంకో ప్రాంతం వారు సమైక్యం గ వుండాలని కోరుకుంటున్నారు.దీంతో రాష్ట్రం లోని ప్రధాన పార్టీ లు పాలన వ్యవస్తను మరింతగా జటిలం చేస్తున్నై.అధికార,ప్రతిపక్ష పార్టీ నేత ఏ ప్రాంతానికి సంబందించిన వారు ఆ ప్రాంతం కావాలని వధ ప్రతివాదాలు చేస్తున్నారు.రాజీనామాలు చెయ్యడం వెనక్కి తీసుకోవడం ఒక ఆట లాగ అయ్యింది.రాజీనామాలు అంటే చిన్నపిల్లలు సైతం నవ్వే పరిస్తితి వచ్చింది.అంటే మన నేతలు వ్యవహరిస్తున్న తీరు చుడండి.అసలు ఏ ప్రాంతం కావాలన్న ఆ ప్రాంతం యొక్క సమస్యలు అక్కడే పరిష్కారం చేసుకోవచాన్న బాధ్యత మరిచి పోతే ఎలా ?అసలు శాసనసభ లో ఈ విషయాల పయ్ చర్చలు జరుగ లేదు. తెలంగాణా విషయానికి వొస్తే 1969 లో ఒక రాజకీయ డిమాండ్ గా మొదలయ్ 40 ఏళ్లుగా కొన సాగుతుంటే దీన్ని ఏ మాత్రం పరిష్కరించేందుకు ప్రయత్నించకుండా ఎవ్వరి లాభం వాళ్ళు చూసుకొంటూ అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టీలు ప్రవర్తించాయి. వీరంతా చేసింది వోట్ బ్యాంకు రాజకీలు సీట్ల కోసం అనడం లో ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు.ఇలా చేసిన వీరంతా చరిత్ర ముందు దోషులుగా నిలబడాల్సిందే.ఈ ప్రాంతీయ అసమానతలని అడ్డం పెట్టుకొని బంద్ లు రాస్తా రోఖోలు, ధర్నా లు బస్సులు తగలబెట్టడం, అద్దాలు పగలగొట్టడం, ప్రభుత్వ ఆస్తులు ద్వంసం చెయ్యడం ద్వారా తమ ఉనికిని కాపాడుకునే ప్రయత్నాలు చెయ్యడం వలన సామాన్యమైన ప్రజల మీద ఇది అదనపు భారం పడడమే కాకుండా, ప్రజల్ని ముక్యంగా విద్యర్తులని, చదువులని ఇబ్బంది పెడ్తున్న సమస్య. అసలు ఈ సమస్యకి ఏ రకంగా పరిష్కరించుకుందాం, ప్రజలు ఇచ్చిన అధికారంతో విజ్ఞతతో ఎలా వ్యవహిరిడ్డం అని కనీసమైన ఆలోచన లేక పోవడం విచారకరం. నిజంగా మన నేతలు చెయ్యాలనుకుంటే ౬ సుఉత్రాల పథకం లో రాష్ట్ర ప్రణాళిక బోర్డు ని ఎందుకు ఏర్పాటు చెయ్యలేదు?610 జి.ఓ ని ఎందుకు నిజాయితిగా అమలు చేయలేదు? ఈ విష్యం పాలకులు ఆలోచించాలి.దీని వెనక వికృత రాజకీయ క్రీడ ను ప్రతి ఒక్కరు ఆలోచించాలి.పరిష్కారం చెప్పాల్సిన పెద్దలు ఏ భావం వ్యక్తం చేసిన ఆ ప్రాంతానికి వ్యతిరేకి అన్న ముద్ర పడ్తుందేమో అనే భయం తో లోపల ఒక మాట, బయట ఇంకో మాట, అధికారం లో వుంది చర్చించని వారు కూడా మేము మద్దతు నిస్త మని కూడా చెప్పి అప్పటి పుటకు సరిపెద్టు కాలయాపన చేస్తున్నారు. అస్సలు రాష్ట్రం లో రాజకీయ పార్టీల బాధ్యత లేదా? రాష్ట్రం సమస్యను రాష్ట్రం లో పరిష్కరించలేని పేలవమైన బలహీనమైన నాయకత్వాన్ని ప్రజలు ఎనుకున్నర? అనిపిస్తుంది.ఇక్కడ అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టీలు బాధ్యతను విస్మరించి. సూదితో పొయ్యే దాన్ని గొడ్డలి ఉపయోగించే స్తితికి పార్టీలు చేసి. ఇప్పుడు కేంద్రం పేరుతో కాలయాపన చేస్తున్నై.రాష్ట్రం లో చర్చించకుండా, సైదంతికంగా లాభమా ?నష్టమా ? ప్రజల ప్రయోజనాలక? అనే అంశాలను కూడా కాదు, అవతలి వారు చెప్పిన మాటలను ఇవతలి వారు ఆలోచించడం, అభిప్రయల్యు తెలుసు కోవడం అన్న ఆలోచనలు కూడా కలగక పోవడం విచారకరం.

చదువులు అందడం లేదు, నీళ్ళు పోతున్నై, ఉద్యోగాలు పోతున్నై,ఆంధ్రావాల గో బ్యాక్ అని వీరు అంటే,తెలంగాణా కబర్దార్ అంటూ రకరకాla తిట్లు లేదా మేము చెప్పిందే కరెక్ట్ అని అనడం ఈ ప్రాంతాల వారు ఆ ప్రాంతాల వారి ఏరియా లో తిరగాన్నివం, ఇళ్ళ పైన దాడులు చేస్తాం, కభార్ధర్ అనే బెదిరింపు దొరనులు మంచివి కావు.నాయకులు మాట్లుడుతున్న బాష ,ప్రవర్తించే తీరు ఆవేశం లో వున్నా యౌవత మీద ప్రభావం ఉంటుందన్న కనీస జ్ఞానం కూడా లేక పోవడం, యువత అనుకరించడం వలన అమాయకమైన నిరుపేద యువత నష్టపోతున్నాం. ఏ ప్రాంతం నాయకులైన వారి పిల్లలను ఉద్యమాల్లో ఉంచారు. వారి పిల్లలు హాయిగా చదువుకుంటున్నారు. ఇక్కడ కాకపోతే విదేశాలలో, ఎక్కడైనా ఒక్క నాయకుడు దెబ్బ తిన్న పాపాన పోలేదు. చదువులు నష్టపోయి,భవిష్యత్తు అంధకారం అయితే ఈ నాయకులు ఆడుకున్తరన్న భరోసా ఏముంది. క్షణం లో ప్లతే ఫిరాయించే వీరు రేపటి గురించి అలోచిస్తారనే నమ్మకం వుందా?
పుట్టిన ప్రతి బిడ్డ ఎదిగే అవకాశం కల్పించాలి అంటే వివక్షత లేని సమాజం రవళి. విద్య, వైద్యం , ఉపాది న్య్పున్యాలు కల్పించి వారి కాళ్ళమీద వారు నిలబడే అవకాశాలు కల్పించినట్లితే ఈ అసమానతలు పోతై కదా? అసలు మన రాజకీయాలు ఎప్పుడన్నా వీటి గురించి అలోచిన్చాయ? ఎన్నికల్లో మద్యం , డబ్బు పంచడం తప్ప ఇంకా ఎమన్నా ఆలోచించే దిశగా వీరు వున్నారా?అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టి ల లాగా లోక్ సత్తా సమస్య లో బాగం కాదు ఎప్పుడు పరిష్కారం వైపు ఆలోచిస్తుంది. రాజకీయం అంటే వ్యాపారం కాదు. రాజకీయం అంటే సేవ అనే లక్ష్యం లో లోక్ సత్తా వచ్చింది. ఈ అవినీతి,ధన, కుటుంభ,వారసత్వ,దోపిడీ రాజకీయాలను మార్చాలనే లక్షం తో లోక్ సత్తా వచ్చింది. లోక్ సత్తా జాతీయ సమైక్యత కోసం జాతీయ స్తాయిలో రాజకీయ ప్రక్షాళన కోసం వచ్చిన పార్టీ. అందుకే లోక్ సత్తా దృష్టి లో దేశం లో అన్ని రాష్ట్రాలు సమానమే. అందుకే ఏ రాష్ట్రం ఏర్పడ్డ దానికి కావాల్సిన విధానాలు ఏమిటో చెప్తుంది.

లోక్ సత్తా చూపిస్తున్న పరిష్కారాలు ఇవి వీటికోసం పోరాటం చేస్తుంది.

ప్రజలని బిచాగాల్లు గా చూసే రాజకీయం నుండి , ప్రజలకి అధికారం ఇచే రాజకీయ వ్యవస్త రావాలంటే రాజకీయ ప్రక్షాలన తో పాటు కేంద్రీకృత పాలనలో ప్రాంతాలు విడిపోయిన, కలిసి వున్నా అభివృద్ధి సున్నా, అన్న సంగతి గుర్తు పెట్టుకోవాలి. ఇందు కోసం ప్రతి జిల్లా లో ఎన్నికైన జిల్లా కౌన్సిల్ ని ఏర్పాటు చేసేలా 371 -d లో మార్పులు చేసి, రాజ్యాంగం 11 ,12 వ శేడుల్ లోని అధికారాలు ఇచ్చి , జిల్లా స్తాయిలో,వార్డు -గ్రామస్తాయిలో ప్రజలకే తలసరి గ్రాంట్, అధికారాలు ఇచ్చే ఏర్పాటు చెయ్యాలి. ప్రాంతీయ అసమానతలు వికృత స్తాయికి చేరుకోవడానికి మితిమీరిన కేంద్రీకృత వ్యవస్థ తో పటు స్తానిక ప్రభుత్వాలను నిర్వీర్యం చెయ్యడం ప్రధాన కారణం.1960 నుండి ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ లో స్తానిక ప్రభుత్వాలు సత్తా కోల్పోతున్నై. 73 ,74 వ రాజ్యాంగ సవరణ వచ్చిన సాధికారత అమలులోకి రాలేదు. ఇలా చెయ్యడం వలన గల్లి సమస్యలు ఢిల్లీ వరకు కాకుండా జిల్లా లోనే పరిష్కారం అవుటై. అవినీతి తగ్గుతుంది. పరిపాలన సవ్యంగా వుంటుంది. ప్రజలందరి ఆద్వర్యం లో జరుగుతుంది కాబట్టి అభివృద్ధి సాద్యం.

2 .14 ఎఫ్ ని తొలగించాలి అని కోరుతూ అసెంబ్లీ లో తీర్మానం చెయ్యాలని అందరిని ప్రయోజనాలను సమన్వయము చెయ్యడమే రాజకీయ ప్రధాన లక్ష్యమని , రాజ్యాంగ బద్దంగా ఆ కర్తవ్యాన్ని జయ ప్రకాష్ నారాయణ్ నెరవేర్చారు. హైడ్రాబాదు ఫ్రీజోనే అంటూ వివాదం చెలరేగినప్పుడు అఖిలపక్ష సమావేశం లో జీపి మినహా అన్ని పార్టీలు అబద్దం చెప్పయంటూ సాక్షాత్తు తెలంగాన రాష్ట్ర సమితి అధ్యక్షుడు చంద్ర శేఖర్ రావు పలు బహిరంగ సభల్లో చెప్పారు. ఫ్రీజోనే విష్యం పై సుప్రేం కోర్ట్ వెళ్ళడం వాళ్ళ ఫలితం ఉండదని, రాష్ట్రపతి ఉతర్వుల్లోని 14 ఎఫ్ తొలగించాలని కొతుతూ అసెంబ్లీ లో తీర్మానం చెయ్యాలని లోక్ సత్తా తరపున ప్రవేశ పెట్టడానికి అనుమతి నివ్వాలని కోరారు. 14 ఎఫ్ నిబందన తొలగడానికి లోక్ సత్తా నే కృషి చేసిందన్న సంగతి ఎలా మరిచి పోయారు. మొన్నటి మల్లి 14 ఎఫ్ నిబందన కోసం మల్లి ప్రధాన మంత్రి కి కూడా లేఖ రాయడం మరిచి జెపి సమైక్య వాడి అనే ముద్ర వేస్తె చాలని తెరాస ప్రయత్నం చేస్తుంది. ఆంధ్ర ప్రాంతం లో కూడా తెలంగాణా వస్తే మీకేంటి కష్టం అని, 14 ఎఫ్ విషయాన కుడా ఆంధ్ర ప్రాంతం లో గట్టిగ చెప్పింది లోక్ సత్తా.పూటకో మాట మార్చే రాజకీయం లోక్ సత్తా నరనరాన లేదని తెరాస తో సహా అన్ని పార్టి లు తెలుసుకోవాలి.
౩. తెలంగాణా సహా రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా సంస్కోభం తో నలిగి పోతున్న రైతుల సమస్యలు పరిష్కారానికి స్వతంత్ర రైతు సంగాలతో కలిసి పార్టీలకు అతీతం గా ఏకం చేసి పోరాడుతుంటే, దశాబ్దాలపాటు అధికారం లో వుండి ,అధికారం లో వున్నా కూడా తెలంగాణా ని పట్టించుకోని నేతలు అర్థ రహిత ఆరోపణలు చేస్తూ ప్రజలను పక్క దోవ పట్టిస్తున్నారు.ప్రజా సమస్యల పరిష్కారానికి MLA నిధులని సక్రమంగా ఖర్చు చెయ్యని , కనీసం సొంత నియోజక వర్గం లో సరైన మార్కెట్ యార్డ్ లేక ,అందుబాటులోకి తెచే ప్రయత్నం, చెయ్యని హరీష్రావు గారు సిద్దిపేట లో మార్కెట్ యార్డ్ అడ్రస్ చెప్పగలరా?
తెలంగాణా లోని పట్టి రైతు లకి కుఇన్తలుకి ౩౦౦౦/- నుండి 7000 /- ధర లభించింది కేవలం లోక్ సత్తా వల్లనే.సిద్దిపేట లో వున్నా మార్కెట్ యార్డ్ లో కనీస సదుపాయాలు లేక, ఊరికి అవతల వున్నా కొత్త మార్కెట్ యార్డ్ ప్రారంబానికి నోచుకోక పోవడం వలన రైతులు పెద్దపల్లి మార్కెట్ యార్డ్ వెళ్ళాల్సి అవస్తలు పడ్తుంటే జెపి మెదక్ జిల్లా రైతు యాత్ర లో ప్రభుత్వం, అధికారులతో మాట్లాడి మార్కెట్ యార్డ్ ని తెరిపించారు. ఇప్పుడు మార్కెట్ యార్డ్ రీతులకు అందుబాటు లో వుండి.

౪.నవాబు పేట లో ని కంకర మల్లేశం అనే రైతు కూలీలు దొరకక పంటను తగలపెట్టిన విషాదాన్ని అసెంబ్లీ ద్రుష్టి కి తెచ్చి పార్టీ తరపున ఆర్టిక సహాయం అందించారు.
౫.రంగారెడ్డి జిల్లా లో ఉపాద్యాయుల బదిలీలు రాజ్యాంగ విరుద్దమని అడ్డుకున్నది లోక్ సత్తా నే.
౬.గోదావరి జలాల్ని కరీంనగర్ జిల్లా ఎల్లంపల్లి నుంచి హైదరాబాద్ తరలించకుండా ఆ నీటిని కరీంనగర్ చుట్టుపక్కల జిల్లాలో ఉపయోగించి , హైదరాబాద్ కి కృష్ణ నది ౩ వ దశ పతాకాన్ని చేపట్టాలని నగరం లో ని 23 మంది MLA ల ను సమీకరించి పోరాటం చేస్తుంది లోక్ సత్తా పార్టీ.

౭.గోదావరి జలాల్ని కృష్ణ నది లోకి మళ్ళించి కృష్ణ జలాలను ప్రధానంగా తెలంగాణా, రాయలసీమ జిల్లాలోని మెట్టా ప్రాంతాలకు వినియోగించాలని లోక్ సత్తా చెప్తుంది.
౮.2009 కృష్ణ వరదలు వచినపుడు ప్రభుత్వ సయం లేకుండా లోక్ సత్తా పార్టీ మహబూబ్నగర్ జిల్ కేశవరం గ్రామాన్ని దత్తత తీసుకొని కక్కడ తక్షణ అవసరాలని అందించడమే కాకుండా స్కూల్ నిర్మాణం చేసింది.కృష్ణ వరదలు భావిష్యతులో నష్టం రాకుండా కనీసం 25 లక్షల కుసెకుల వరద నీటిని తట్టుకునేల కరకట్టల నిర్మాణం చేయాలనీ, జాతీయ విపతుల సహాయ దళాన్ని రాష్ట్రం లో ఏర్పాటు చెయ్యాలని jp స్వయానా ప్రధాన మంత్రిని కలిసి చెప్పిన తర్వాత ప్రభుత్వం ఆ దిశగా స్పందిన్చిందన్న సంగతి మరవొద్దు.
౯.తెలంగాణా విమోచన దినోతవాన్ని అధికారికంగా నిర్వహించాలి.హైదరాబాద్ సంస్తాన విముక్తి దినోస్తావాన్ని భారత స్వతంత్ర దినోస్తావానికి కొంసగిమ్పేనని, తెలంగాణా విముక్తి దినోస్తావాన్నిసెప్టెంబర్ 17 న రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం అధికారికంగా నిర్వహించాలని లోక్ సత్తా డిమాండ్ చేసింది. ఈ స్వతంత్రాన్ని తాకట్టు పెడ్తుంది నక్సల్స్ కాదు ,జర్నలిస్ట్ లు కాదు , రాజకీయం వ్యాపారంగా చేసి వారసత్వంగా పెంచి పోషిస్తున్న రాజకీయ నాయకులే. ఈ దోపిడీ రాజకీయాన్ని మార్చి కొత్త రాజకీయం ప్రతిస్తిన్చేదుకు తెలంగాణా విముక్తి దినోస్తవ వేడుకలు స్పూర్తినివ్వాలి అంటుంది లోక్ సత్తా.
తెలంగా పై వెంటనే తుది నిర్ణయం తీసుకోవాలని లోక్ సత్తా కేంద్రానికి ఎప్పుడో డిమాండ్ చేసింది. రాజకీయాల ప్రయోజనకోసం ఏడాదిన్నరగా సాగదీస్తూ వున్నా తెలుగు వారందరికి కేంద్రం అపార నష్టం కలిగించిందని, రాజ్యగాన్ని రక్షిస్తాం, భయం ,పక్షపాతం లేకుండా పాలనా సాగిస్తాం అని రాజ్యాగం సాక్షిగా చేసిన ప్రమాణాన్ని కేద్రంలోని పాలకులు వుల్లన్గించారని ,సరైన నిర్ణయం సహేతుకంగా తీసుకోమని ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ప్రజల మనోభావాలతో ఫుట్ బాల్ అడవద్దని లోక్ సత్తా పార్టీ కేంద్రాన్ని కోరుతుంది.ఎంతటి సమస్యకైన పరిష్కారం వుందని,విస్త్రుతమైఅన , శాంతియుతమైన చర్చల ద్వారానే పరిష్కారం సాధ్యం అని అయోధ్య లాంటివి నీరుపించై .అలంటి తరహాలో మన నాయకులూ ముందుకు రావాల్సిన అవసరం వుండి. పిరికి తనాన్ని వదిలి ప్రజలను ఇంకా సంస్కోభం లోకి కాకుండా,నిజమైన ఆత్మ గౌరవం కల్పించాల్సిన బాధ్యత అన్ని రాజకీయ పార్టీ ల పైన వుందని ఇలా చెయ్యని నాయకులను పక్కన పెట్టాలని లోక్ సత్తా సూచిస్తుంది.

The wife went straight to the coffee area. She started filling her hand bag with sugar packets. I think she emptied all of them. Then she started to take other stuff, then she noticed me. She whispered to her husband, and they left right away. I am pretty convinced they went to other floors and picked up more sugar.

I couldn’t digest what I saw. I asked my team members whether I should complain to HR. They all convinced me that it will end his job, and probably bring bad name for Indians. I am sure he was probably making close to six figure salary. Does he really need to steal those small sugar packets and risk his job? We all occasionally use the office printer for something personal, but using work place as a grocery shop is something else.

Anyway. For folks like them, I now found an ethical way to steal plastic spoons from work place. This will work only at the places where plastic spoons are free to consume. This is how….

Bring your lunch from home. Don’t bring a spoon. Use the plastic spoon from the break area to eat your lunch. After using it, instead of throwing it in the dust bin, put it in your empty lunch box. By the end of the month, you would have stolen about 20 spoons.

ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళలో ఎక్కువ మంది కి అసలు తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రం ఎందుకు అడుగుతున్నారో తెలియదు. మరి తెలంగాణా రాష్ట్రం డిమాండ్నివాళ్ళకి ఎవరైనా ఉద్యమ నాయకులు వివరించారా? అందుకని మొదటిగా వచ్చే ప్రశ్న, తెలంగాణా ఎందుకు ఇవ్వాలి? కానీ ఇక్కడ ఇంకొకటి వుంది. స్టేట్ కాపిటల్ తెలంగాణాలో వుంది, అది సెపరేట్ చెయ్యాలి అంటున్నారు. దానికి అర్ధం ఇవ్వమనా, పొమ్మనా? ఏదిక్కూ (కొత్త కాపిటల్) చెప్పకుండా పొమ్మంటే యెక్కడికి పోయేది?

మరి ఉద్యమ నాయకులు తెలంగాణా చరిత్రా, వారి బాదలూ, ఆకాంక్షలూ గురించి తక్కువా, ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళని కించపరచటంలో ఎక్కువ మాట్లాడటం కనబడుతుంది (మీడియా పుణ్యం కూడా వుంది). ఇది తెలంగాణా ఉద్యమంని ఉదృత పడటానికి ఉపయోగ పడినట్లే, ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళ మనోభావాలని కూడా దెబ్బతీసింది. ఇవి కాకుండా, 1) హైదరాబాదుకి వీసా కావాలి, 2) ఇడ్లీ సాంబార్, 3) గోదావరి నీళ్ళు గురించి ఆస్పస్టత, 4) ఆంధ్రా సెట్ట్లెర్స్ ని వెళ్లగొడతాం……..లాంటి వాటిలో నిజం లేకపోయినా, ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళలో భయం, కోపం అయితే నింపాయి. మరి ట్యాంక్ బాండ్ మీద ఆంధ్ర చరిత్రకారుల విగ్రహాలు విరగగొట్టటం అయితే మరచిపోలేని బాధ కలిగించింది. మరి దగా పడ్డాం అని ఉద్యమం చేసే వాళ్ళ పంధానా ఇది? ఇప్పటి కైనా ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళని కించపరచటం మాని, Central Govtని డిమాండ్ చేస్తారా?

కే‌సి‌ఆర్ ఉద్యమంలో అందరి కన్నా పెద్ద నాయకుడు. టి‌డి‌పిలో ఆయనకి పదవి రాలేదు అనే బయటకి వచ్చి ఉద్యమంలో “చేరాడు”, అలానే కాంగ్రెస్ దగ్గర కేంద్ర మంత్రి పదవులు తీసుకుని సైలెంట్గా డిల్లీలో కూర్చున్నాడు అనేది చాలా మంది నమ్మకం. ఈ నాయకుడు నెలకి ఒక డెడ్ లైన్ పేట్టే వాడు. మరి అలాంటి అవకాశవాది ఉద్యమం నాయకుడు ఎలా అయ్యాడు?

మాట్లాడితే ఆంధ్రా పెట్టుబడిదారులు, ఆంధ్రా రాజకీయ నాయకులు తెలంగాణాని దోచుకు తింటున్నారు అంటారు. ఇది నిజం అయ్యి వుండచ్చు. వాళ్ళు మీకు దొరికితే మా పేరు చెప్పి రెండు పీకండి. ఎందుకు అంటే, వాళ్ళు ఇక్కడ కూడా అలానే దోచుకున్నారు. తెలంగాణాని దోచుకుని ఆంధ్రా వాళ్ళకి పెట్టటం లేదు. మోన్న ఒక రోజు గద్దర్ అన్నట్లు, ఈ పెట్టుబడిదారులకీ, రాజకీయ నాయకులకీ కులం, మతం, ప్రాంతం తో సంబందం వుండదు. వీటికి చాలా ఉదాహరణలు వున్నాయి. హైదరాబాద్ ఏమార్, రాయలసీమ ఓబుళాపురం, కోస్తా ఆంధ్రా eastern corridor దొంగలు అంతా ఒక్కళ్ళే. అదిలాబాదు ఎంత వెనుకపడిందో, ఉత్తరాంధ్రా, నల్లమల ప్రాంతాలు కూడా అలానే వెనుక పడ్డావి.
